AUSTIN (March 14, 2019) – K Friese + Associates (KFA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Peter Ring, PE and Vicki Ortega, PE to Associate. Hired in 2015, Pete brings more than 35 years of diverse transportation management and design experience to our team. His extensive knowledge and experience delivering roadway and highway design solutions for Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and TxDOT-funded projects makes him a valuable resource for our statewide clients and also for the next generation of roadway engineers. Pete received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Houston and is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Texas, Illinois, and Louisiana (inactive).
Vicki’s achievement comes after ten years with KFA and a successful history of developing long standing relationships with our local municipal clients. Her ability to provide diverse engineering management and design services through effective partnership and process is an asset to KFA’s clients and team members. Vicki received her Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas-Austin and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
