Karen A. Friese, PE, has been appointed to the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors

AUSTIN (2022) – We are proud to announce that Karen A. Friese, PE, Founder and President of K Friese + Associates, has been appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (TBPELS). “I am excited and humbled for the opportunity to serve our profession and the State of Texas as a member of this board,” says Karen. The TBPELS protects the health, safety, and welfare of the public by licensing qualified professionals and regulating the practice of engineering and surveying across the state. Each year, the Board reviews over 600 enforcement cases and provides guidance for ethical practices related to engineering and surveying.
