Dear Colleagues, Clients, and Friends,
There are birthdays, and then there are birthdays, and celebrating 20 years of K Friese + Associates is definitely the latter. Also, in the same way milestone birthdays can prompt new phases of personal growth for individuals, professional milestones can become catalysts for business evolution. It is with those sentiments in mind, and with immense gratitude in my heart, that we announce K Friese + Associates has joined H.W. Lochner, Inc. (Lochner).
When I started K Friese + Associates 20 years ago, I did it for several reasons, but the biggest reason was I wanted to provide an environment for talented, like-minded professionals that would allow them to grow, work on projects they enjoyed, and improve our local communities – an environment that would allow us to serve public-sector clients with best-in-class expertise. Over these past 20 years, we have created a dynamic team and a tremendously successful firm with an amazing reputation, while expanding to four Texas office locations and close to 90 KFA Team Members. This adventure has exceeded even my highest expectations, and it is impossible to express how grateful I am to every person who has been, and continues to be, on this incredible journey with us. I’ll simply say a heartfelt thank you.
As we looked forward to our next 20 years, we knew it was time to take this next big, bold step. One that would allow us to provide additional expertise and add depth for our public sector clients while, at the same time, allow our KFA professionals significant opportunity to grow. We are excited to have found a partner who shares our vision, values, and our people-centric culture.
With offices throughout Texas, Lochner is known as a trusted leader in all aspects of the transportation industry including highway, bridge, aviation, transit, and rail services. KFA and Lochner will join forces, with KFA leading our Water, Drainage and Municipal Services in Texas. The combination of Lochner and KFA will provide our clients with more horsepower, a larger geographic footprint, and broader/deeper expertise across the board.
What remains unchanged is our dedication to serving our clients with a talented and innovative team of professionals. We remain fiercely committed to the communities we serve and are excited for the opportunity to continue to play a meaningful role in helping shape their futures.
On a personal note, I will be joining the Board of Directors at Lochner and will continue to take an active role in leading our Texas endeavors. I look forward to continuing to work with each of you. Thank you for your continued support!
