With more than 35 years of civil and environmental engineering experience serving public sector clients throughout Texas, Trent has developed a strong reputation for innovative problem solving and client service. He brings his deep technical knowledge and commitment to leading both complex design teams and the growth of KFA’s Southeast presence.
Trent Slovak, PE, BCEE, brings local leadership and specialized water and wastewater engineering experience to his role as Director of Engineering, Southeast Texas. Based in Houston, Trent has spent the majority of his career serving clients within the greater Houston area as well as river authorities throughout the State. In addition to holding Professional Engineer licenses in Texas and Louisiana, Trent is an American Academy of Environmental Engineers Board Certified Environmental Engineer and a licensed wastewater treatment plant operator in Texas. He specializes as a Project Principal/Manager or Technical Advisor for complex projects involving water and wastewater treatment process evaluations and condition assessments, process selections and designs, distribution system water quality management, FEMA damage/cost recovery, and local permitting and regulatory issues.
Trent received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston and a B.S. in Environmental Science from Sam Houston State University.
