SAN ANTONIO (November 15, 2016) – K Friese + Associates (KFA) is proud to announce that we have established our first branch office in San Antonio. This new presence will allow us to better serve our existing clients in the area, as well as continue our successful and steady growth as a Texas-based firm. Mike Persyn, PE, recently joined KFA in the firm’s new role of San Antonio Team Lead. A South Texas native, Mike brings a strong reputation for client service and 16 years of experience in large public infrastructure project management and design, specifically in water and wastewater. His clients include numerous municipalities and state agencies throughout the region.
KFA’s dedication to Texas infrastructure began when the company was founded in 2003 by Karen A. Friese, PE, in Austin. The firm began with a solid base of water, wastewater, transportation, and drainage engineering consulting and design services for municipal, county, and regional authorities throughout Central Texas. KFA quickly expanded our geographic reach through the addition of State Agency and South Central Texas clientele. In response to this rising client demand for small firm responsiveness with “large firm capability,” KFA now employs more than 45 highly skilled professionals and support staff, who together serve 80-plus public sector clients on large, complex projects throughout the state. Specifically desired for our strong technical resources and client service, our growth to date has been steady and deliberate, ensuring our quality, consistency, and commitment remain the cornerstone of our firm.
“The services we offer to all of our clients in South Texas is now matched by the expanded capacity and accessibility of our team with this new location. We embrace the opportunity to grow as a way to maximize the benefits we can offer to both our clients and KFA staff,” Karen says of the firm’s decision to expand.
Based in San Antonio, Mike will be dedicated to further developing KFA’s presence from our first branch office located near the 1604/281 interchange. Mike has the full support and resources of KFA behind him – working alongside staff already focused on projects in the area. We are excited to begin adding staff to support our clients’ needs and to become a valuable local presence in our new community.
